Welcome to the Metro South Marines!
To join this detachment is easy. This detachment is looking for members.
There are 4 kinds of members.
The 1st kind of member is a marine who joins and become very active
in our running and functionality of the detachment.
The 2nd kind of member is a marine who joins to show support for other
Marines. He or she does a few functions or just pays his or her yearly
membership dues. They might even attend a few functions here and there.
The 3rd kind of member is called and Associate member. This person is
usually a family member or a veteran. These members are brought into this
detachment through other members.
The 4th kind of member is someone who transfers over from another
detachment or is a member at large.
Who can join this National organization?
The league is comprised of honorably
discharged as well as reserve and active duty Marines and FMF Navy Corpsmen with
over 90 days of service. Those individuals that want to participate with the
Marine Corps League but do not otherwise qualify may join as Associate Members.
To apply you need to have a copy of your DD-214 or similar
proof of service. Then you must print out and bring or mail the application to
the correct address on the application.
